To celebrating Independence Day,

By watching a fireworks show.

To painting nails patriotically,

as it is getting dark,

before the fireworks show.

And taking photos of their messiness,

and my ever-growing baby bump,

as we wait in the van,

until most of the cars had left the parking lot after the show.

To a beautiful blue necklace,

that my sweet 6-year-old daughter, Cecily, made for me.

Hello!

To one of my favorite foods this pregnancy.

And to cast iron cooking.

And needing to re-season this pan.

Hello!

To taking a Sunday Drive to a park a little farther away,

to enjoy some much needed air conditioning,

and amazing views.

Hello to trying to stay cool. 

Hello to staying hydrated, so I don’t have so many Braxton Hicks contractions.

Hello to getting things packed for a weekend trip, out of state.

Baby Bump.

Hubby took a few photos of me at the park earlier this week.

I didn’t plan on having any photos of myself taken that day.

So you get plain old me.

No makeup.

No jewelry.

No blue hair,

nor rainbow.

And this is me on most days...nowadays.

But I thought…

“What if I don’t get one photo with the kiddos and this baby bump, together??”

So, this is the best with all three four kiddos.

It is hard to get Dashiell to hold still these days.

Such a busy 2-year old!

Insta-Friday Autumn Edition

Loving autumn, as always.
Perfect weather this week.

It has been a loooooong time.

Sleeping more.
That is the one thing I dislike about autumn.
Never enough hours in the day.
And even less in autumn, with sleeping more.


I am grateful though.
The kids sleep more.
Meaning-I can too.



Laundry mat visit.

Because our washer is broke.
