My pink post today is about an awesome swap I participated in called the Pink Vintage Christmas Swap. Jen over at Rosey Little Things hosted it. Thank you so much Jen!
I was partnered up with Desiree over at Boyett Homestead!
Here is what I sent Desiree!
Vintage Candy Cane Tags I made...
The bells are vintage and I made the tags look vintage using tea!
I loooooove this other tag I made…pink!
You can find one in My Etsy Shop HERE!
As you can tell I love glitter!!! So I decided to send some of my favorite color of glitter, “blush pink”, to Desiree in a vintage salt shaker!
Here is more “blush pink” glitter on this Christmas tree ornament/wall hanging I designed and made with vintage buttons!!! I made some more of these that were supposed to end up in my shop for Christmas, but some how, they just didn’t make it in My Etsy Shop…but I do plan on working on some hearts for Valentine’s Day after Christmas, so make sure to check back!
Another Ornament!
A pink vintage retro style candle holder!
This cool vintage address book!
I love the color combination inside of it…pink and olive green! I actually used this color combination on our Christmas cards this year sent to family and friends. I actually didn’t even realize it until now, but maybe I unconsciously got the color combination idea from the address book. I’ll have to show the Christmas cards another day though…
I also gave Desiree some vintage ribbon and bells, the stickers are new, but I thought she could use them for scrapbooking or other crafts.
A cute pink box…
Most of the goodies fit in the box…
Ahh, I almost forgot that I did add in some pink sweets to the mix!
Here is everything grouped together! I had a lot of fun doing this swap! To see what Desiree gave me, you can go to a previous post I wrote here.
Happy Pink Saturday to all who made it through another loooong post! And Merry Christmas! I hope you and your family have a safe and blessed Christmas.

Snowflakes and Sparkles Swap 2008 ~ I Received an Awesome Package!!!
I had a lot of fun participating in this swap! A special thank you goes to the host Holly over at Mommy Holly.
My partner for this swap was Regina over at Little Wash Wash!
I opened up this beautiful package to this cute card with my name…
Look at all these cute packages! My kids loved helping me unwrap them!
We love cookies around here! Cookie mix=fun! We have been making a lot of cookies lately. It is still really cold here and it is so nice to have warm cookies fresh from the oven!
I love the reindeer cookie cutter too!!! I surprisingly don’t have one like this in my vast collection. I do love cut out cookies and you can use cookie cutters for so many different craft projects too. I’m thinking, we might have to make some really nice thick reindeer ornaments!!!
Regina made these beautiful tags…
I especially like the ones that use the word Joy, one of my favorite words.
And she also made these beautiful tags…
I especially love the swirl one!
Such a cute kitchen towel, I love how it reads…”Winter Is Snow Much Fun!”
Regina made this cute bag and headband for me out of vintage style fabric! I love them both! A LOT!!!
Here is a close up of the beautiful vintage style fabric!
I love snowflakes and these are great ornaments to add to my collection! I’m actually thinking it would be pretty fun to have a tree with just snowflakes and snowmen because I love them both so much.
And last, but certainly not least, is this beautiful, metal, glittered, sign, with one of my favorite words…JOY!
Thank you so much Regina for EVERYTHING! It was such a joy to do the swap with you!
I will post what I sent to Regina in another post, but for now I'm headed for bed!

Pink Saturday-Pink Vintage Christmas Swap!
My, oh my, how did another week just slip by!? I didn’t blog much this week, but I’m hoping to blog more this next week and in the New Year. My finals for classes are over, yah!!! I enjoyed both of my classes, but I am taking next semester off to focus more on Etsy and my family. I will probably never close the door to taking classes though. I love learning and find sometimes I push myself harder when under strict guidelines.
Onto my pink post today, which is about an awesome swap I participated in called the Pink Vintage Christmas Swap. Jen over at Rosey Little Things hosted it. Thank you so much Jen!
I was partnered up with Desiree over at Boyett Homestead!
She sent me a beautiful package stamped with pink Christmas trees and when I opened the box, I found all this pink goodness!
I first found in a silvery envelope, this cute card with a super cute purse (I love purses!) and coated in beautiful lavender on the inside, with a special holiday greeting from Desiree…
Yummy CHOCOLATE!!! Packaged so beautifully in PINK!!!
This beautiful handmade, Pink Christmas Angel is superb!!!
I especially love her beautiful wings!
Here’s her close-up. So beautifully handmade!
I love vintage pins and I love vintage handkerchiefs, so these went hand in hand and are so perfect for me!!!
Close up of the pin!
Close up of the handkerchief! Pale pink and lovely aqua TOGETHER!!!
A beautiful vintage embroidered linen for atop my vanity!
Purple, Blue, and Pink! Three of my favorite colors!!!
Even though these beautiful ornaments look great in this dish…I will likely be using it for CANDY!! ;)
Very cute for candy, don’t you think? I love the little Christmas trees, so cute!
Some close ups of the great pink vintage glass ornaments!
I love the reflection of me in the left ornament…
Can you tell I loooove them!
This is sooooo awesome! I love reusable bags! I take them to use at the grocery store, on trips, for picnics all the time…this bag is going to be used!!!
Thank you Desiree sooooo much for everything! I love pink more and more, and thanks Jen for having such a fun swap!
And Happy Pink Saturday to all who made it through this loooong post! I will post what I gave Desiree next Saturday for another fun Pink Saturday!
And I still have two other swaps that I was a part of that I will post about this week. They were both just as sweet and awesome!!! So look for more posts soon!!!
I’m off to bed!
Now, head on over to Beverly’s and check out the other wonderful Pink Saturday participant’s blogs! Thanks Beverly for hosting Pink Saturday!

The Aqua 'n Red Fall Swap Package I Received!
I had so much fun participating in the Aqua 'n Red Fall Swap hosted by wonderful Selena and Sara. Thank you so much ladies for hosting such an awesome swap!
I was partnered up with Katia from Mille Idee in una Tazza who is from Italy!!! I’m so happy I have had the pleasure of getting to know Katia.
I received my package a few of days ago and this is the awesome goodies I found in it…
These beautiful vintage dishes that are made in Italy! I love, love, love these! Katia knew that I loved vintage stuff and this sure hit the spot! ;)
Jewelry!!! Katia made this beautiful jewelry set for me!
Can I use the same phrase twice!? I love, love, love these!

Plus they came in a fun bag that Katia made herself!!
A fun "kitty-cat" (as I always say to Love Bug) since we have a big "kitty-cat" at our house…anyhow this is a super fun salt shaker made of wood and has a magnet on it!
Yummy sweet chocolate candy! Ahhh, I loooove sweets!
And the funky and fun fabric is great! I can’t wait to include it in a project!
My package was rounded out with a heartfelt letter and Christmas card! Thank you so much Katia for everything!!! I’d love to do another swap with you anytime!
Katia is having a giveaway on her blog Mille Idee in una Tazza celebrating visitors to her blog.
Wouldn't she make a beautiful gift for Christmas...or to keep for yourself!? ;) A name will be drawn on December 1st!
